FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a not-for-profit charity that brings students together to participate in competitions based in STEM. Robotics competitions ran by FIRST gives students opportunities to further pursue science, technology, and engineering on a challenging level. Furthermore, these competitions push students to problem solve, collaborate, and become leaders. Through FIRST, students learn essential skills for the work force while still having fun and pursuing their passion.
